Mount Redoubt
Sarah is in Anchorage for the Science Fair where she took a blue ribbon...and is stuck there due to volcanic ash. The airport was closed because ash is dangerous to fly into. They think they will be able to fly tomorrow.
The mother of the other girl who went is chaperoning them.

Jenna's height
To Auntie Bee.
Jenna is a good 5 ft 8 inches and weighs 150 pounds so she is no pushover on the court. She will compete in a cross country ski meet in Fairbanks next week-end. She hates it but has stuck it out this year. She said no more.

The twins and a friend
Jeanne, here is a couple pics of the twins and Sarah's friend. Actually Evan has a crush on Bethany so all 3 had a good time . He tried to act grown-up.
I took the above pictures at the motel Anchorage when we were at the tournament. The kids all had Galena Hawks clothing on.

Hi family! Nothing new to report except for the fact that it is freezing cold here in Cheyenne! It is snowing and it is a complete blizzard out there! The Wyoming wind is really something...and it drives Aaron and I nuts! We're just trying to stay warm and enjoying being cozy inside by the fire. Hope it is nicer where you are!

Jenna, a member of the State All-tourney team with Grampa and Gramma. She immediately removed the medal before she walked back to be seated with her team. She is a humble kid. There were 10 all-staters but she was the only Freshman

Hi everyone! We are looking forward to our trip back to Montana in just a few weeks. Maybe by then we will be getting a few more smiles out of the little guy. He smiles every once in a while when I coo at him excessively-but nothing consistent. Hope all is well and if you haven't lately, or at all...get to bloggin'!!

Santa Barbara
Thanks for the directions Shaye!!!
This weekend we went to Santa Barbara. The guys rode motorcycles and another girl and I drove the car. We had a great time. There were some executives from IKEA in town for a training. They wanted to explore the coast so they rented Harleys and then some people from here went along. Eric borrowed our friend Jonas' bike.
Two of the pics are from the Santa Barbara Mission. The hump in the ocean is actually a whale. We watched it for a very long time. They were trying to get it to go back out to the ocean, but he was wanting to be in the bay.
The last two are from a town called Solvang. It is a Danish town. Everything downtown is modeled after Danish buildings.
I hope everyone is well!

Uploading multiple photos
Hi there Kara! ok-all you have to do after you post a picture is just click on the 'add image' button again and it will continue to upload as many photos as you want. If you are wondering how I upload pictures that 'stack'-I go to www.goodwidgets.com-then I go to make a widget now-I scroll down to stack (or you can try whatever one you want)-I go to 'get free'- and then I go to upload your own on the right hand side. It will give you a code when you are done that you can copy and paste to your 'new post' on the blog. They should show up when you 'view blog' after you are done. Just play around with it and let me know if you are still having trouble :)

Posting Pictures
Shaye,
How are you able to post more than one picture at a time. I am thinking that you are using an outside source to put them in and then putting them into the blog. HELP!
Thanks!!

Springtime in Alaska
And it is 30 below. That was yesterdeay and today it is only -21. We have tons of snow. I will try to download a picture or two.
The school has chartered a pkane to go to the Girls State Tournament in Anchorage and sold the extra seats to fans. That would include us.:-) We leave Wednesday morning and I think Galena plays their first game at about 1 the next afternoon. We think they may be broadcast on a Wedsite. I will let you all know.
The Berring Strait School district has a TV class that has done it in the past. At least the audio should be available online.
I sure enjoy seeing the pictures posted on this Blog. We don't get to see the family often enough. Aaron and Dustin you are both good "daddys". Kara when is the wedding?

Posting to Post
Well I have been getting grief from my mother for never writing anything on a blog so here is a writing.... I am not going to post a picture right now because I don't have any good ones as of late and if I took one on my web cam a lot of you might ask who the homeless guy is... I am definitely not looking my best today...
My kids are keeping me on my toes and being all kinds of fun/challenging/annoying/wonderful. All the things that kids are. Our favorite thing to do together is to go to the Stage Stop Inn Hotel in Choteau and use their indoor Pool. Mom got Michael a new life jacket for his birthday and we picked Jason up one too.
Otherwise like I am sure some of you know I am in the midst of ending my married life right now and all the fun that goes with that, but there are surely other fish in the sea. I am doing a lot better than I was at first and now actually kind of enjoy the time by myself. I have been able to redirect a lot of energy that I was expending to make someone else happy towards making myself happy. So for now things are alright and I am sure I will come across Miss Right some day...
Ok, Mom I posted something now get off my back!!!
Lol..

Grandchildren
Seems at our ages the most important news is about the grandkids. Today is no exception.
Sarah just called to say she won the Science Fair in Galena and will go to Anchorage to compete in the State one. Her prioject was Which Water Washes With Waste? It was an experiment to see if the temperature of water made a difference in cleaning ability. She soiled 3 pieces of fabric with coffee stains Washed one in hot, one in warm and one in cold, all with washing detergent. The result was they all did the same so save the money on heating water. She then figured how much money you'd save $$$ in a year using cold water.
Last week-end Jenna and her team won the Regional basketball tournament and will got to State in Anchorage in 10 days..
Also last week-end. Rob who is a hockey coach for the High School team in Bozeman saw his boys take the State Title.
I just figured this thing out. It will be a lot of fun. I have never blogged before.
