Bissonnette Family History

I am interested in our ancestors. I am in contact with an Arthur Bissonnette In Cornwall, Ontario who is Gramoon's first cousin. He is 81 years old and seems totally "with it". He has the family traced back to the 1600's. I hope to make a printed copy of all that he hand-wrote to me. Also I am going to go to Ontario in the fall . He said he could show me where my grandfather grew up. I am not sure if it is the house or just the town. If you are interested in getting copies of the information let me know.

Arthur has one living sister, Eva. His brother Alcide died in February.

We have managed to avoid a flood.This is Jon standing in front of a chunk that piled up on the shore. Remimber Jon is 6 ft 3.

We readied our house and  belongings as much as we could getting things up high..we even tied our shed off to a couple of trees.  Am happy  the flood never came.

I think there were 3 new babies within the last year.  Reese, Justin and Ashtyn, so to their mothers a very special  Happy Mothers Day.   As Gramoon said" Every new  grandchild  is better and better."

in memory of Rod

We all remember 22 years ago on May 9th and what we were doing.   Ken you were on your way to CA to stay with Gramoon.  I was visiting  with Bertha Wheeler when my EMT radio went off for a possible code black at Rod Moon's I remember hoping it was actually a car wreck and whoever called the ambulance said Rod Moon's place for  the location. Actually Laura  VanDenBos had gone to see why he had not shown up for work.  

 I am sorry he was in the frame of mind he was...but by Golly HE DID NOT DRINK!

We still think of him.

Hi Y'all. Just got my appointment to have my right knee replaced on July 1st. He will have to open it all the way up and decide if I need a partial or full knee. Please pray it is a partial. Bernie
